If you've spent any amount of time working in the Salesforce ecosystem, you already know how scattered the good stuff can be. The best flow patterns live in a Reddit comment from 2021. The CLI command you were looking for was buried within a reply to an answer on StackExchange. The framework you wanted to deploy didn't quite have the functionality you were looking for.
That's why Wynforce was created with the ambition to become one of your go-to sources for all things Salesforce. From tips and tricks, to tools and in-depth tutorials. The goal is not to replace everything that's already out there. Rather, we want to become a layer that helps to make sense of it all.
The best Salesforce resources were always out there. They were just never in the same place.
What You'll Find
First of all, Wynforce is not just another blog or news site. It was built with the intention of being a resource for developers, admins, architects, and anyone else who builds on Salesforce. To start, we've organized everything into three pillars (or the Three Ts):
- Tips
- Tools
- Tutorials
These pillars are the foundation of how content will be created and shared. The following sections will provide a little more detail on what you can expect from each.
Tips - Think "aha" moments
When you think of a tip, think "short and sweet". We'll provide little nuggets of wisdom or quick hacks that can make a big difference in your day-to-day work. They'll often be shared as smaller posts directly on Wynforce or through our social channels to help you solve everyday problems more efficiently. Whether it's a new approach to an old problem, or a new tool that can help, these posts will save you time and frustration.
Tools - Think "Developer Experience"
We're actively working on developing our own ecosystem of development tools to be shared, with the hope of inspiring and being inspired by all the work that's done by the community. You can look forward to seeing utilities such as:
- Apex modules that follow modern development patterns
- Lightning Web Components (that you wish Salesforce hadOOTB!)
- Scripts for automation and deployment (e.g. GitHub Actions workflows)
Tutorials - Think "Best Practices"
The Salesforce platform is like an ocean. While it can feel easy to get lost while figuring it all out, it can be just as rewarding to navigate it, especially when you have the right tools and guidance to discover its potential. To that end, our plan is to provide quality and intentionally curated tutorial content that focuses on practical and robust solutions for real-world scenarios. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Development and Architectural Patterns
- Secure Solution Design
- Data Modelling
- Testing Strategies
- And so much more!
Who This Is For?
Wynforce is built for builders. Whether you're an admin, architect, developer, analyst, or any other role, if you build on Salesforce and want to elevate your knowledge, this is the place for you. At the end of the day, we simply want to help you get the job done, and done well.
What's Coming Next
We're just getting started! Over the coming months, we'll be publishing deep-dive tutorials, making updates to our open-source frameworks, and a whole lot more.
If you have something you think belongs here — a tool you've built, a pattern worth sharing, or a topic you want covered — reach out. The best resources in this ecosystem have always come from the community, and we intend to keep it that way.
